How great to see Linda and Bob. It is hard to believe that it has been so many years since they were in Corpus Christi. You would think that they had just been over to see us and we had followed them back. We happened to meet the two of them after Linda had given us a call to see if we wanted anything brought over from Scotland. What is it with the traveling Haggis and blood puddding. I understand that many a Haggis had been smuggled into the USA prior to laws changing in 2009? Anyway Linda was offering to be one of those Haggis smugglers so we all have become good friends. What a view they have from their new home in Falkirk. I am so glad we took the tour and all before the wine and spirits were poured. Still can't get use to the sun being up at 3:30am and setting around 11pm. Phylis and Nessa were right in there with the rest of us on stories, glasses of wine and good conversation. I think the "Slippery Nipples" were part of their plan as they arrived with the Bailey's. This is the after dinner drink that Linda was taught on one of her trips to the US. I had never heard of doing such a thing with Bailey's but was in for a couple when they were initially offered at 11pm. At 3:30am when the sun was coming up I knew it was time to bid everyone a good night. I am going to make sure to have Bailey's and Sambuca available for those who come to visit the Texas Riveria.....Although Barb it is not blue.June2010iphone_030.jpg
